Stampo's Lair Inside Viva Las Vegastamps!

Even sneaked in a pic of the inside area of the "cage" - where Stampo sits and works the cash register and computer... with the help of his four dogs and the occasional cat... Sunshine

And I LOVE this little gal, just inside the shop door... she has "STYLE" (and a really good bra, I guess)... Sunshine

Sunshine's Latest Visit to Viva Las Vegastamps!

All of these were taken at Stampo's store - Viva Las Vegastamps! I took a lot of his "card displays" this time - they are up above his rubber stamps, on all the wall areas....cutesy and fascinating... as many times as I have visited his store, I ALWAYS find something new to look at... (and buy)... lol... he makes ALL of his own stamp images...
love, Sunshine

A Quote from Kevin Nakagawa, Stampscapes

"If anyone reading this is in Las Vegas, be sure and visit Wayne's store -- Viva Las Vegastamps! No matter how many stamp stores you've been to, you'll never see one like this."- Kevin Nakagawa, Stampscapes

VLVS! April Sketch Challenge Winner

Congratulations to Crystal Boling who won the $100 Gift Certificate in the April Sketch Challenge using all stamps from Viva Las Vegastamps!... and thanks to all who participated... I'll get your cards uploaded into the VLVS! Mail Art Gallery.
If I was a waitress, this is what I would have tattooed on my forehead!!!! I feel sorry for some waitresses....the people that they have to put up with is horrible. Think about it, their on their feet for many hours, toting people food and trying to keep glasses refilled and clean up messes that people leave. Have you ever noticed parents with small kids, the kids are throwing food on the floor and the parents are leisurely eating their meal like they don't see it.... HA. Then there are the impatient patrons that as soon as the waitress has left the table they're looking for her to get another refill, or extra 'whatever'..... Recently I was sitting down at a adjoining booth and I heard the guy sitting directly behind me "gulp" down his sweet tea, I thought glass and all were going to be sucked down his throat... then he tells the person he was sitting with "Where's that waitress, I need more tea!" I know for a fact she just left the table with their order. OMGoodness....If you were that thirsty, I'm sure they could have hooked up the water hose and run it to your table....bwahahahahaha.
Ok, enough gabbing, this cutesy little card was made for a sketch challenge at Rubberstamp Chat...hosted by Viva Las Vegastamps. They have some cute stuff you guys.... very retro, if you are into that sort of thing. But they have others too. The stamps that I used are:
Waitress Item #2728, Steak Item #12568, and Drumstick Item #5544. I had a lot of fun putting this card together. I used color pencils, gamsol, and a stump... sorta like watercoloring... I also use my water pencils on occasion. Love to color in images, it reminds me of coloring in a coloring book when I was a little girl...
